Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is used as a diluent for reconstituting lyophilized (freeze-dried) compounds for research purposes.
How should I store it after opening?

Store at room temperature (20-25°C / 68-77°F). Protect from light and freezing. Once opened, use within 28 days and discard any remaining solution.
What is the shelf life?

Unopened vials have a shelf life of 24 months from the manufacturing date when stored properly. The expiration date is printed on each vial label.
